I’ve been meaning to take a walk along the Yarra river and I finally got around to it a few days ago. I left from Collingwood and made my way down to Abbotsford where I joined the Yarra river. As a result this tremendous walk took almost 4 hours and along the way I was rewarded with a beautiful walk tucked away from the city. When I reached Burnley Park the river makes contact with the highways. Yet despite this it was still a great few hours spent walking to downtown Melbourne. I’ve just found out that some of my images in this series has been selected by On Being.
The images were accompanied by the amazing words of Catherine J.F. Sietkiewicz.
