Why not have a Ballard Wedding? I’m mean long before the hipsters and young couples of Seattle descended to the old working waterfront the fisherman have and continued to work in this area. They still populate the area. Keeping it vibrant and in touch with the cities rich history. I can’t believe its been ten years since I first met Leif. Our friendship was fast in the making. We toured the Everett streets searching through the thrift shops for one last indulgence before we headed out to sea. Its been a colourful past 10 years with never a dull moment. Leif is the kindest dude I know but he is very tall and almost intimidating if you don’t know him. I can remember when he first told me about Katie. I mean she got him to travel to Europe! Not soon after they were engaged. When Leif asked me to photograph his wedding in Ballard I was honoured to be included in their celebration.
I just want to say thank you and congratulations to Leif and Katie as they are by far the coolest people I know.
The wedding ceremony took place at the Nordic Heritage Museum in Ballard, Seattle
