Photo shoot
I recently met up with Shallinda for a photo shoot in one of Melbourne’s oldest suburbs. Collingwood. I recently scouted a few different locations in the Melbourne area to shoot. I ended up deciding sticking close to Gertrude street.
We took a short tour around for about an hour taking pictures checking out the old graffitied brick buildings. Melbourne has a lot to offer when it comes to beautiful locations to photograph.
I always incorporate images of the area as well into the edit as I believe it helps give the viewer a sense of what it’s like at that particular place at that time. Textures and colour play a big role for me when I shoot adding to the storytelling element through detail photographs of unique fixtures and found items that help make a specific place it’s own.
