Yarra River Portrait Shoot
I recently met up with Ruby for a Yarra river portrait shoot. It was a beautiful day. The sun was out there were no clouds in the sky. This particular series of portraits were taken just down from Flinders Station along the Yarra river. Walking along the tree lined foot path we found some great spots to take some beautiful portraits.
Not only does the location play a very significant role in how the final images will look. The subject and how they present themselves will dictate how the shoot will go. That is why I end up telling clients to be comfortable. Just wear what you usually would, I tell them. That is by far the most important aspect. To be yourself. At the end of the day though it’s the connection we create with our subject. This aspect will determine how the images will turn out. Many thanks to Ruby.
